SCARFS

Incredibly versatile, silk scarves captivate as a multifaceted accessory that not only softly wraps around the neck but also enchants as a charming detail on handbags.

The scarf – the most versatile accessory

Silk scarves are superbly versatile accessories, and a great addition to women’s fashion. They’ll add a sophisticated highlight to your wardrobe with their colour-coordinated prints. There are so many ways of styling them that experimenting is all part of the fun. A foulard, as silk scarves are also known, can pep up a collarless shirt if you knot it into a bow, or if you tie it cravat-style, it can give a denim outfit a hint of extravagance. You can wrap it loosely around your bag handle so it’s always there if you suddenly need something to put around your neck or head. A foulard can also be used as a belt, or you can even tie it into a sexy top. Stylists love silk scarves with prints, using them in eye-catching ways to complete a look, and a stylish woman will never be without a classic 100 x 100 cm-sized foulard in her bag.

Högl’s women’s scarves give an outfit that certain je ne sais quoi

Women look to the Högl brand for high quality as well as classic, feminine design. Högl’s silk scarves add a colourful accent with their prints. They complete the label’s collections and coordinate beautifully with the shoes and bags to create a harmonious look. On-trend shades along with classic and floral patterns form the inspiration for elegant prints every season. But this doesn’t mean Högl foulards simply follow short-lived trends; they are proven stylish companions and you’ll always find yourself tempted to try new combinations with them.

What are the most popular ways of tying a silk scarf?

The triangle is a classic way of tying a scarf. Simply fold the square scarf into a triangle. If you hang the midpoint of the triangle at the front, the scarf ends can be tied at the nape of your neck, wrapped around your neck a second time (waterfall-style) or knotted near the midpoint with the ends dangling, western-style. The triangle also forms the basis for the flight attendant look: wrap it around itself lengthwise until it forms a narrow band. Wrap the scarf around your neck twice and then make a double knot, leaving the ends to hang at the side of your neck, or centrally over your chest.
