Our top 5 fashion trends to follow in Fall/Winter 2021

What’s coming and what’s still in? It’s probably the most exciting question at the start of every new season! Just for you, we’ve searched out the best catwalk and streetstyle looks for the coming autumn and winter, and they’ll all go perfectly with our new styles. Whether it’s monochrome tailoring, cosy knitwear or cool leather and utility looks, this season has something to suit every taste. Be inspired by the top 5 fashion trends we think are worth following in the coming season, and take a first peek at our Autumn/Winter 2021/22 collection.

1. Go for tonal tailoring!

Tailoring remains a key trend for Autumn Winter 2021/22, although this season it’s been given a new twist. Perfectly cut, flowing trousers (and trouser suits), blouses and coats are now combined, tone on tone, in monochrome layering looks. It’s all about minimalist style with clean lines, in soft tones like taupe or cream. Adding boots or sneakers in the same shades creates an extremely elegant and harmonious look.

Casual or elegant, these are the perfect companions for your monochrome look in soft cream tones:

2. The all-over knitwear look

Knitwear makes a well-earned dramatic entrance this autumn! With the summer months over, chunky knits and all-over looks are back with a vengeance. The possibilities are endless when it comes to our beloved knitwear this season. Casual layering, with different knitted garments in the same or a similar colour styled on top of each other, is bang on trend. Shapes that envelop you and radiate pure cosiness, while still creating a simple, elegant look, are the focus of this chunky knit trend. As a stylish finishing touch, we like to pair a flowing knitted dress or trendy jersey set with our combat boots in a soft colour or cool black.

3. Cosy times

Autumn is getting snuggly! This season, we’re saying goodbye to uncomfortable shapes and materials. Alongside the tailoring and knitwear trends, where flowing silhouettes dominate, materials like teddy or shearling are adding extra cosiness. While teddy coats are still in, plush fabrics now also feature on other fashion pieces and accessories, such as shoes and bags.

4. Leather taken to the next level

Leather weather: just like every autumn, cool leather pieces are on our wish-list again for this season. However, unlike in previous years, we are now getting to know leather in all its guises. Whether it comes as a coat, blazer, trousers, jumpsuit, skirt or dress, leather will be dominating the fashion world in 2021/22. Super-soft leathers that create new silhouettes and shapes, as well as vegan alternatives, are a hot topic in women’s fashion, and also for us as a shoe manufacturer. In addition to the various certified leathers and suedes that come from environmentally friendly production, extremely soft vegan nappa leather also features in our collection this season for the first time.

5. Back to work

Always a timeless fashion trend, the utility style is making a comeback once the summer is over. Casual jumpsuits, waistcoats or parkas with patch pockets in colours like beige, camel, black or olive define the workwear trend, where fashion is combined with functionality. Add some lace-up boots with a camouflage print or in stark black and you get the perfect casual look that will guarantee you make a self-assured entrance.

Look cool and functional in our sneakers and lace-up boots:
