Recipe for a tiramisu and
a pimped iced coffee

What tastes more like summer than a coffee chilled with ice. We share with you our two favorite summer recipes for coffee lovers. Tiramisu and a pimped iced coffee - two delicious desserts that bring out the flavor of coffee in different ways.

 

TIRAMISU

Ingredients:

4 egg yolks
150 g sugar
500 g mascarpone
1 cup strong espresso, cooled
2 tbsp cocoa powder
24 ladyfingers
1/2 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
A pinch of salt

Preparation:

Whisk the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl over a bain-marie until a thick,
pale mixture forms. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.
Stir the mascarpone into the egg yolk mixture until you have a smooth
cream.
Place the cold espresso in a shallow bowl. Optionally, add the coffee liqueur.
Briefly dip the ladyfingers into the espresso so that they are slightly
soaked but not too soggy.
Place a layer of the soaked sponge fingers in a baking dish.
Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the cookies and smooth
down.
Place another layer of soaked ladyfingers on top, followed by the remaining
mascarpone cream.
Leave the tiramisu to rest in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Sprinkle with cocoa powder before serving.

 

 

PIMPED ICE COFFEE

Ingredients:

2 cups freshly brewed strong coffee, cooled
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp maple syrup or to taste
1 tsp vanilla extract
ice cubes
Whipped cream (optional)
Caramel syrup (optional)

Preparation:

Pour the cooled coffee into a glass with ice cubes.
Add the milk, maple syrup and vanilla extract and stir well.
Pour whipped cream over the coffee if desired.
Optionally garnish with caramel syrup.
Stir with a spoon and enjoy immediately.


Both recipes are relatively easy to prepare and promise delicious results.
