The perfect spring wardrobe has to be one thing and one thing only, for me: airy! And this is just as important when it comes to accessories. Not only are woven bags and baskets some of my absolute favourite pieces, but shoes with a woven look are just as stunning.

Spring is still keeping us waiting. So I’ve already had to flee the cold this year! I’m spending a week in South Africa, in my favourite city: Cape Town. The energy that this city gives off is indescribable. Maybe it’s the unique light that falls there that has inspired so many fashion photo shoots... or it could be the friendliness and openness of the South Africans that makes this country so special.

One item just had to be in my suitcase: my Högl CHOCCY woven heels. Impressive craftsmanship and a unique design combine to make these shoes extra special. I’m teaming my elegant jumpsuit in fresh turquoise with a light beige shopper, which is the perfect match for my summery oversized blazer.
This is a simple look that gets a welcome injection of holiday pep from the mid-height woven heels. I could also see them being a big hit in summer with a maxi dress or skirt.
