Our packaging in focus
We regularly review our packaging with regard to material use, packaging size and recyclability, while taking applicable legal requirements into account.
We aim to use packaging according to its intended purpose and avoid unnecessary use of materials wherever possible. At the same time, we continuously develop and improve our packaging solutions.
European packaging requirements
The European Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste – the so-called Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) – introduces new requirements for packaging across Europe.
The regulation covers, among other things, the design and composition of packaging, its recyclability and labelling, as well as the handling of packaging waste. The individual requirements will come into effect gradually at different points in time.
We are also taking these requirements into account and continuously developing our packaging solutions accordingly.
Transparency about our packaging
The information on this page provides an overview of the packaging materials used by HÖGL and their respective disposal methods.
As materials, packaging and legal requirements may change, we regularly update this information.
Please note that disposal requirements may vary depending on the country and region. If in doubt, please refer to your local collection and waste disposal systems.
Triman Labelling for France
For our customers in France, our products and packaging are provided with the appropriate Triman labelling and corresponding sorting instructions. The labelling helps consumers sort the individual components correctly after use and ensure that they are directed to the appropriate disposal or recycling process.
