Sweet and homemade - perfect for Easter with family
The Easter lamb is not only a traditional Easter treat that looks pretty,
but also the perfect sweet side dish for Easter brunch or afternoon coffee with
friends or family. And the best part: It‘s really easy to prepare and you only
need a few ingredients. Here is our recipe step by step:
INGREDIENTS
Dough (for two pieces):
250 g flour
250 g sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
250 ml whipped cream
approx. 1 tbsp. baking cocoa (as needed)
Easter bunny icing:
60 g chocolate
120 g butter/margarine
Easter lamb or Easter bunny mold
AND THAT‘S HOW IT WORKS
First, beat the eggs with the sugar until foamy.
In the meantime, whip the cream with a mixer.
Then stir the flour with the baking powder into the batter and
gently fold in the whipped cream.
Then pour half of the dough into the greased Easter lamb mold.
Mix in the cocoa in the other half as needed and pour into the into
the Easter bunny mold. Bake at 160 degrees for approx. 45 min.
For the chocolate icing of the Easter bunny:
Melt the chocolate with the butter on lowest heat and mix.
When the bunny has cooled completely, pour the chocolate glaze
over the bunny and refrigerate.
