Fashiontweed

A journey of discovery around Vienna.
My interest in the history of Vienna means I  spend a lot time exploring the historic city centre. For the sake of tradition alone, a quick stop at the ‘Zum Schwarzen Kameel’ restaurant is an absolute must.

Although the current interior dates from 1902, this culinary institution has been delighting the discerning Viennese with homemade treats at Bognergasse 5 for centuries. The bread rolls, served with an inventive array of spreads, are not only among the best in the city but also offer much-needed energy for your next adventure.

Inspired by the long-awaited warmth of springtime, I head in the direction of the Stadtpark in my suitably summery yet oh-so-comfortable shoes. Anyone searching for nature in the city will find it in this beautiful green oasis. The mixture of birdsong, street musicians and urban noise mingles together to create a calming soundscape that truly relaxes me.
