Wachau

The Wachau combines idyll with gusto

The Wachau, which has been an UNESCO World Heritage since 2000, is one of the most beautiful river landscapes of Europe. Idylls combined with culture, tradition and guarantors of wellness and enjoyment enchant and tempt to come back to this lovely place over and over again.

You can discover the region on various ways: By foot you can hike through the most beautiful places on the Weltbergsteig Wachau. More relaxing is for example a cruise on the Danube, where you can enjoy a superb view on the vineyards.

Another highlight of the Wachau is the cuisine. From the Wachauer apricot (definitely try an apricot cake!) to tasty wines – the Wachau offers a broad variety for everyone.
