It’s time for the Berlin Film Festival!
feel good diary, Februar 2017
I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Berliner living in Munich. Yes I know, they are two utterly different cities, and it took me a long time to adjust. Now, though, I love the differences between these cities. As a presenter, I get booked for a lot of events in Munich and I often film with stars in Berlin, like at the Berlin Film Festival. At the festival, I obviously have to dress the part, which unfortunately means wearing high heels all day.
Finally, comfortable high heels. I had no idea that such a thing even existed. I was the happiest woman at the Berlin Film Festival in my nude pumps.
What a nightmare. It used to be fine, but now I can barely get through one presentation on stage before I need to take off my high heels and chuck them in the corner. I also have knee problems to boot, and my doctor advises me to wear nothing but flats, but I don’t think ballet pumps are a long-term option for women ;-). When I presented for Högl with Guido Maria Kretschmer a few seasons ago, I had the pleasure of trying on lots of their shoes. It was magnificent. Finally, comfortable high heels. I had no idea that such a thing even existed. I was the happiest woman at the Berlin Film Festival in my nude pumps. Later, I noticed some of the celebs had changed into trainers to make the most of the dance floor. I went up to them and told them about Högl...after all, every woman deserves to wear comfy shoes ;-)
