Stay warm and look cool
Kristin Hesse conquers the peaks of Kitzbühel in sporty and comfy booties of the Högl Kitzbühel edition
I hate to break this to you, but snow season is slowly approaching, and if you are a sun lover like I am, you surely will have the same issues, when it comes to the cold season, that I have: you fear the chill and the ugly shoes you’re going to wear, for what feels like an eternity. Whilst I cannot help you with the first part, I have good news regarding the second: more and more shoe brands are getting into the cold-weather game, creating plentiful options to make us stay warm and look cool in the snow (or when just sitting fireside in the lodge).
Being as I am a Munich girl, I fell in love with these Kitzbühel edition snow and hiking boots by Högl shoes
, which are not only super-functional, comfortable and top quality, they also look cute and are a must-have for any fashionable snow bunny. To master mountain chic this coming ski season, my snow pal Füsun (from Short Stories & Skirts) and I are going to combine our Högl suede sneakers with either a pair of relaxed or chinos, or sweat pants, loads of cosy knit and an oversized coat. It might sound a little crazy, but you can start shopping my winter favourites below. You’ll thank me in a few weeks time. ;-)

Dr. Christa Kummer (hydrogeologist, climatologist and theologian) made history as the first female weather reporter to appear on Austrian television over 23 years ago. Her repertoire also includes giving lectures and presenting major events, and she’s even made a name for herself as an author, too.
Fluffy, warm and truly eye-catching
It’s finally time to say good-bye to our summer wardrobe and time for the transition into autumn and winter. Kristin Hesse gives a lot of suggestions, how your favourite clothings can be styled for November.
