Three casual yet chic outfits that are perfect for every day
Autumn-time is sneaker time, so today I’m excited to present this compact lookbook featuring three different styling ideas. Whether you’re going for a chic, casual, or office-worthy look, these three models have got you covered for any day-to-day situation. You can find lots more outfit ideas on my fashion blog Who is Mocca?
Feminine and chic – loafers with bows
If you’re after a chic shoe that works just as well for business looks as for everyday outfits, then look no further than these feminine loafers in autumnal burgundy. For the sneakers lookbook, I’ve styled these loafers with bows very casually.
I'm wearing a pink tee with a cat design, mom jeans and a green bag. Colour blocking is bang on trend again this autumn, and you can’t go wrong with this colour combination. Teamed with denim, this look is nicely matched and not too bright.
Swap the print T-shirt for a smart blouse and blazer, and hey presto – you’ve got the perfect look for a casual business brunch.
Velvet, raspberry, and patches – three autumn trends in one!
Light tracksuit bottoms or joggers with buttons down the sides are very popular right now. I like them as they’re really comfortable but still super feminine. Paired with an oversized blouse and a smart handbag, they don’t look baggy at all – one of the reasons I love this combination so much. For nipping into town, I also like to throw on a pair of raspberry sneakers
, which go really well with the dusky pink stripes.
These casual sneakers
also combine three autumn trends into one. Velvet is still very “in” this season, raspberry is a firm autumn favourite and patches
are likely to be with us for some time to come.
Raspberry is particularly effective matched with more subdued colours like dark green, dark blue or dusky pink. I love this autumnal colour, especially when it’s combined with different shades of pink. It adds that little bit of extra freshness to an outfit.
Sneaker wedges – comfortable for long days on your feet
are my shoe of choice when I’ve got a long day ahead of me but still want something with a bit of a heel. Thanks to their high-quality design, walking in these sneakers is like walking on air. And the feminine cut goes perfectly with either a skirt, a midi dress or culottes.
This time, I wore my black sneaker wedges
out for brunch with my mum. I also wore a high-waisted denim skirt teamed with a striped shirt and a small yet spacious bag. I like colour-coordinated accessories, so I went for a black belt with a big buckle: the perfect match for my sneaker wedges.
Styling tip: Sneaker wedges
make your legs look longer, which makes them a great match for short skirts or dresses – and did I mention how comfy they are? Their tapered shape means you can also style them with rolled-up skinny jeans.
