Design goes Vienna

HÖGL’s trend tip: Vienna Design Week

VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is THE festival for creatives, design aficionados and those wanting to be inspired by them. Lilli Hollein has thousands of visitors waiting in anticipation to see what she brings to the table this year: her event concept, meanwhile in its tenth round, has all of Vienna holding its breath. 150 events at different locations ensure a broad scope of topics.

“Since its beginnings VIENNA DESIGN WEEK has been working on creating a relevant contribution to the international design calendar, bringing Vienna into the contemporary spotlight. Over the past nine years we’ve demonstrated how successful our concept is: not just in the steady growth of visitor figures and their readiness to explore the city beyond its trodden paths, but also in the statements by international designers who have described their participation in “Passionswege” as a career leap. The local business landscape benefits from the growing awareness surrounding creative talent – and is increasingly opening up to it.”
