In love with Högl heels
Between Fashion Week and the Wild West
Whether she’s at Berlin Fashion Week or on stage in Bad Segeberg, with Högl, Christine Neubauer feels like she’s walking on clouds.
For Christine Neubauer, the days are long. First of all, she’s up on stage performing as evil villainess Judith Silberstein in "Winnetou and the Secret of the Rock Castle" at the Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg. Then a change of roles - and a makeover - and Christine is mingling in the international fashion scene at Berlin Fashion Week. Once there, she moves from show to show to admire the latest collections from renowned designers, also stealing some of the limelight herself as a celebrity guest.
But first, back to the set.
Far away from civilisation, in the Mexican mountains, stands a castle whose vaults lead to a mine promising seemingly infinite riches. Driven by greed, the unscrupulous Judith Felsenstein, played by Christine Neubauer, and her lover, Harry Melton, lure German settlers into a trap to force them into slave labour. But two men stand in the way of this evil plan - Old Shatterhand and his blood brother, Winnetou.
Christine Neubauer may have already played a multitude of roles, but this one is unique.
"This role is a childhood dream come true. I wasn’t just a fan, I was in love with Winnetou! He was my childhood hero!"
There’s not much demand for high heels in the Wild West - but even so, silver heels by Högl make the cut. Christine explains why: "Even my cowboy boots give me blisters, so after the performances, I gladly change my 5kg costume for a light summer dress, and my boots for a pair of heels."
"Compared to the Wild West, days at Fashion Week can be very relaxing!
Into the hustle and bustle of fashion
Of course there, it’s all about the right styling", says Christine. That’s why she puts on a costume of a different Kind.

For her two days in the fashion jungle, Christine Neubauer chose two contrasting outfits. Firstly, she combined a trendy leopard-print coat with elegant black leather trousers. On day 2, she went for something a little more summery – a red and white polka-dot dress with playful frills.
Flat shoes are not an option for Christine Neubauer, even though she spends all day on her feet. Gone are the days of swollen feet, having a spare pair of flat shoes in your bag and the eternal search for somewhere to sit down. For her looks, she chose two absolute bestsellers from Högl’s range of heels: VICTORY 90 high heels in black patent leather and BOULEVARD 90 nude stiletto heels.
"The padded footbed and the fit of Högl heels allow me to appear relaxed and stylish for hours on end, with a beaming smile on my face!” enthuses Christine Neubauer. “It’s like walking on clouds! Winnetou was my childhood hero - Högl shoes are my everyday heroes. I'm in love with my heels!"
