Black & white

A perfect contrast without colour

Black and white, that most classic of all colour combinations, doesn’t always have to be minimalist. Our styling tip shows how it's done.
Black and white are technically the colours with the greatest possible contrast. But conventional combinations of white on top, black below, or vice versa, can quickly get boring. Edgy patterns and sophisticated styles can break with the monotony of this most elegant of colour combinations. Create a very feminine statement look with a few tricks!
If you don’t want to combine blocks of black and white on their own, symmetrical patterns such as floral shapes are in focus this season, as you can see in our styling tip. We’ve put the spotlight on pattern with a genuine all-rounder - the shirt dress. With its maxi length, it’s a versatile eye-catcher that’s perfectly suited both for summer and for the transition between seasons. Another plus: once you’ve put this outfit on, you’re ready to go. It doesn’t need any expensive accessories or distractions because its shape and contrast say it all.
We’ve teamed this dramatic dress with these understated, supremely feminine Högl FESTIVA Mary Jane heels. With their high-cut heel sections and ankle straps, the block heels have a hint of 60s retro. Tip: choose your dress length to keep the ankle straps visible so that the sensual charm of the heels will be shown to their full advantage.
Zum expressiven Hemdkleid in schwar-weiß Print kombinieren wir den zurückhaltenden, in höchstem Maße femininen Högl Mary Jane Pumps FESTIVA.
