Högl at MICAM in Milan

Successful trade fair presence

Högl presents the new 2019 Autumn/Winter collection – with retailers and partners showing strong interest.

To coincide with the start of the ordering season, Högl’s sales team showcased the new 2019 Autumn/Winter collection shoe designs at MICAM in Milan.
Numerous international footwear manufacturers including Högl unveil their forthcoming collections there twice a year. For many buyers, MICAM is an event not to be missed if they want to keep abreast of the latest in international shoe fashion.
Högl’s Sales Manager Bernd Grillitsch explains the concept behind the new collection and answers interested retail partners’ questions.
Numerous distribution partners flocked to the spacious stand to gain an insight into the new collection.
"MICAM in Milan is our global ‘shop window’ for high-end retail trade. There were consistently large crowds at our stand across each of the trade show’s four days. Despite a slowdown and fewer visitors to the show in general, we were more than satisfied with our presence and performance. We were also very pleased with the level of interest expressed by numerous retail partners,” concluded Bernd Grillitsch, Högl’s Wholesale Sales Director.
Demand for shoe designs with waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex® technology, which are a permanent fixture of every Högl Winter collection, was particularly strong. Several shoe designs were given a stylish upgrade with cutting-edge logo-design stretch fabric. Modern trekking styles, ankle boots in autumnal colours and sporty designs with platform soles also generated considerable interest.
