From the Sky Bar on the top floor of the Steffl department store in Kärntner Strasse you can cast your eye over St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Belvedere Palace, the Rathaus (Town Hall) and the Karlskirche (Church of St. Charles). The bar is Austria’s most well-known American bar and has an extensive range of old-fashioned drinks and soulful lounge music.

Rooftop Garden - Vienna

An urban garden in the heart of the city. In the Rooftop Garden in the Ruby Marie Hotel on Mariahilfer Strasse, you’ll find colourful furniture, loungers and comfy Fatboy beanbags. Plenty of plants create an urban oasis with a relaxed and easy-going atmosphere. On this colourful terrace, guests can enjoy breakfast in the open air, relax over a coffee during the day, or raise a glass at sunset with a cocktail.

Cubus – Linz

Cubus, in the ARS Electronica Center in Linz, is at once unassuming and extravagant. From the air-conditioned roof terrace, you’ll be treated to all-year-round spectacular views of the old town of Linz and the Danube. This restaurant and bar is well-known for its exceptional international cuisine, made with locally sourced ingredients. The bar is popular for meeting after work, for heavenly classic cocktails.

Whether you’d like Sunday breakfast, a business lunch or dinner for two, Cubus’ restaurant is one of the very best addresses for fine dining in Linz.


Reaching for the stars at 464 metres high, the Schlossberg restaurant’s roof terrace towers over the roofs of Graz. The mountain of the same name, formed from dolomite rock, is one of the city’s landmarks, at the heart of the historic old town of Graz. As well as stellar views, fine Martini and relaxed music in a high setting, you’ll also enjoy high quality wines and cocktails here. 360° Bar - Innsbruck

From the 7th floor of Innsbruck’s Rathausgalerien shopping centre, you can enjoy a 360° view of the sunset. 360° Café & Bar has seating areas both indoors and outdoors. The Alfred – St. Pölten

The huge sundeck at over 200m2, with its stunning views as far as the Ötscher mountain, certainly has plenty to offer. Three areas with different themes set the scene: factory, theatre or garden. "This means that visiting us is always varied and a little bit out of the ordinary,” Manfred Hinterberger, the Alfred’s managing director says. The Alfred is part of the budget design hotel of the same name, with 50 stylish rooms offering a high level of comfort at moderate prices. For guests not staying at the hotel, the sky bar can be reached using an exterior lift.

The Alfred opened on 7th April 2018. Since then, this sky bar in St. Pölten has been a whole new phenomenon with its summery atmosphere!
