Our WAVE sneakers are modern and versatile. The design features a snake-effect heel section and high cut, as well as a chunky sole that lives up to its name and is made from super-light environmentally friendly EVA. The towelling lining in this feminine yet sporty all-rounder softly hugs the foot and also has a temperature-regulating effect. Removable insoles provide additional comfort and wearability. The upper, made from extra-soft lambskin, is sourced from certified leather suppliers that guarantee to use a toxin-free and resource-friendly production process.

Högl Sustainability Program

We only have one planet, and its resources are finite. Fundamentally, we all know that a change in our behaviour is inevitable, and that we all need to do our bit to ensure the earth remains liveable in the future too. As a family-run business, at Högl we have always looked to future generations, and strived for a resource-friendly production, quite simply because, to a large extent, sustainability also stands for quality. The more durable and comfortable a shoe is, the more sustainable it is. That is why we continue to rely on manufacturing by hand to the present day, despite all the technology available. We work exclusively with genuine leather from hides that are by-products of meat production.

For this collection, we have primarily used nappa lambskin that is 100% certified with a gold rating from the LWG (Leather Working Group) - an initiative that campaigns for optimising environmental management in the leather industry, and promotes pollution-free processing with the lowest possible energy and water consumption. Whether it is our LWG-certified leather, innovative materials from renewable fibres, Tencel laces or our EVA-WALK eco-soles 30% made from recycled materials, we are living up to our ecological responsibilities. And we have recognised one thing: that striving towards sustainability is a never-ending process, which constantly calls for new, more environmentally friendly manufacturing processes.

Removable insole - customized comfort!

Your foot should not have to adapt to the shoe; a shoe has to adapt to your needs! We therefore offer many designs with removable insoles. Exchangeable footbeds allow a customised optimisation of the shoes, for example by replacing them with orthotic insoles. Another positive side effect is that our insoles can be taken out for airing and cleaning.
