Design our next Högl Modern Classic

Modern femininity & contemporary elegance: these are the qualities that Högl, and in particular these new AMANDA 70s-style loafer heels, epitomise. Their flared block heels and the chunky chains add a touch of vintage glamour to this classic shoe. Thanks to its modernity and timelessness, and also its cool femininity, our AMANDA design is already a true Högl Modern Classic.

AMANDA is a key piece in our current collection. But what might our next Modern Classic for next year’s Autumn/Winter 2021/22 collection look like? Take part in our design competition and show us your vision of a modern, contemporary classic in a sketch.

If luck is on your side, you could win your very own Högl Modern Classic design which will be made exclusively for you at our headquarters. The winning design will also eventually become an integral part of our Autumn/Winter 2021/22 collection!

How to take part

Enter in one of our Högl stores:

Between 25th September and 11th October 2020, visit one of our participating HÖGL stores (details below) and hand in your sketch, together with a completed entry form.

Make sure you include your contact details, and hand it in to a HÖGL member of staff or post it into the competition box. If luck is on your side, you’ll win a tailor-made pair of your very own Högl Modern Classic shoes, produced for you at our headquarters under the eye of our design experts, and they’ll also be included in the forthcoming Autumn/Winter 2021/22 collection. Alternatively, you can opt for a Högl shoe of your choice from the current collection.

Entry Terms and conditions

This competition is conducted and organised by HÖGL SHOE FASHION GMBH, A-4775 Taufkirchen/Pram. The company is referred to hereinafter as "HÖGL". The competition has no connection to Facebook or Instagram and is not sponsored, supported or organised in any way by Facebook or Instagram.

The competition is only open to those aged 18 or over. Employees of HÖGL may not enter the competition. There are two ways to enter. Participation in the competition requires the completion of an entry form obtained from one of the participating HÖGL stores or an online entry via Facebook or Instagram. Entries made in store must include the contestant’s contact details to enable HÖGL to contact them in the event of a winning entry. For online entries, entrants must be following HÖGL on either Facebook or Instagram. Out of all the contestants that have fulfilled the conditions of entry (either online via Facebook or Instagram or in one of our HÖGL stores), five winners will be selected. The first prize winner will receive their very own pair of Högl shoes, designed and produced alongside our experts at the HÖGL headquarters in Taufkirchen/Pram. Travel and accommodation are included. The prize winners in second to fifth place will each receive a pair of HÖGL shoes of their choice from the current collection.

Chances of winning

Entering in a HÖGL Store

To enter the competition, each contestant must complete an entry form in one of the participating HÖGL stores between 25/09/2020 and 11/10/2020, including their contact details. The completed form, along with a sketch of the contestant’s design, must be posted into the competition box or handed in to a HÖGL member of staff.

The competition is running concurrently on the official HÖGL Facebook page and on the official HÖGL Instagram page, as follows:

To enter the competition, contestants must post a sketch of their shoe design in a comment under the official prize draw post on @HoeglShoeFashion during the competition period. Entering via Instagram:

To enter, contestants must create a sketch of their own “Högl Modern Classic” during the competition entry period and share it in a public post or an Instagram story under their own profile, tagging @hoglshoes in the caption. Contestants’ profiles must be set to “public”.

Entrants must follow HÖGL’s official Instagram page @hoglshoes.

HÖGL reserves the right to change the conditions of entry at any time. HÖGL also reserves the right to terminate or suspend the competition without notice at any time. This applies in particular to any circumstances that could interfere with or prevent the competition from running as planned. HÖGL also reserves the right to disqualify entrants who post offensive submissions, and to report submissions which violate applicable law or offend against common decency.

Entrants shall ensure that any submission they make to HÖGL is free of third-party rights and does not violate any rights (particularly copyright and neighbouring rights as well as trademark rights). Entrants undertake to indemnify and hold HÖGL harmless against any third-party claims resulting from the publication of their submission.

The winners will be selected in private, without the possibility of recourse to legal action. HÖGL will announce the winners and tag them on the HÖGL website, the official HÖGL Facebook page and on the HÖGL Instagram page no later than 12/11/2020. The store winners will be informed by letter or telephone. Online winners will be informed by private message. The winners must respond by 25/11/2020 at the latest to claim their prize. The winners must provide the following information: full name, home address, contact details and the desired shoe design from the current collection. The announcement of the winners shall be subject to correction. HÖGL offers no cash alternative for the prizes, which will be despatched by mail. In exceptional circumstances, collection from a HÖGL store may be possible.

HÖGL is not liable for damages resulting from errors, delays or interruptions in transmission, disruption to technical facilities or to services, incorrect content, or the loss or deletion of data, unless these are caused intentionally or through gross negligence on the part of HÖGL. Once the prize has been delivered, HÖGL shall be released from all obligations. HÖGL assumes no liability for legal or material defects.
