Our planet, our future, our contribution

Together we plant 500 trees

Thanks to your purchases on World Environment Day, we can plant 1000 trees together with the Jane Goodall Institute-Austria.

It is important to us to take responsibility for our planet and to set an example for environmental protection.

For decades, Jane Goodall has been committed to global peace, holistic species protection and the promotion of respectful, sustainable treatment of humans, animals and nature. With her outstanding ability to inspire people for her projects, she is a great role model for all of us. We admire her tireless dedication and would like to support this valuable project.

The Jane Goodall Reforestation Project in Uganda

The forests of the Albertine Rift Valley in Uganda are among the 200 most valuable ecosystems in the world that are of utmost local and global importance for the conservation of biodiversity and as a climate regulator. While tropical forests are the largest terrestrial CO2 reservoirs, they have been particularly hard hit by deforestation over the past 50 years. 70% of West Uganda’s forests have already been destroyed. Unfortunately, this process continues to this day. The results affect us all: climate change, polluted groundwater, drought, species extinction. In Africa, the habitat of chimpanzees is also at risk.

The reforestation projects in Uganda are as diverse as the problem they are addressing: planting trees is only one (important) part of it. The Jane Goodall Institute-Austria integrates the local people, explains what an intact forest brings for their local ecosystem, takes protective measures and starts initiatives to set up tree nurseries for reforestation and rewilding.

"We are not asking for charity to help save the wildlife

- and ultimately the people - of African.

We are asking for a collective investment

in the future and in a legacy that we can be proud of.

We do not have much time left.

We must act now"
